INSPECTION PROCEDURES FOR
SWIMMING POOLS, SPAS AND HOT TUBS

Building permit must be posted on the site of construction and clearly visible from the road until completion of the project.

Your approved plans must be available at time of inspections. These are the “Approved” plans signed off on by Somerset County Building Inspections, LLC.

MINIMUM 48 HOUR ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO OUR OFFICE 814-445-8133

ALL POOLS:

1. Electrical Inspection – Bonding all metal parts, Wiring
   
   
2. If installing a deck around or next to a pool – Use inspection procedure for decks.
   
   
3. Safety Barrier Inspection.

All Inspections may be done at the same time.
