INSPECTION PROCEDURES FOR
Commercial and Multi-Family
Contractors/Developers are fully responsible for the scheduling of inspections 48 hours prior to inspection on regular business days.
The inspection must be ready at the scheduled time or an additional inspection fee may be charged. If an inspection must be cancelled, it may be done within four hours of the inspection by leaving a message. Please plan accordingly for your inspections to avoid delays in your project.
- Footing Inspection - To be done after forming and prior to placing concrete.
- Foundation Inspection - French drain and waterproofing.
- Plumbing Under Slab - Prior to placing concrete, inspector must be present for water test.
- Electrical, Plumbing, and Mechanical Inspection - Rough in prior to insulating.
- Framing Inspection - Prior to insulating but after No.4 is roughed in and approved.
- Energy Efficiency Inspection - After insulating, before drywall.
- Wallboard Inspection - After fastening, before taping.
- Final Inspection - Job must be completely finished and final plumbing test and electrical inspection reports are completed.
