Building permit must be posted on the site of construction and clearly visible from the road until completion of the project.

Your approved plans must be available at time of inspections. These are the “Approved” plans signed off on by Somerset County Building Inspections, LLC.

DO NOT schedule an inspection if the work is not ready. An additional charge may be added if the work is not ready for inspection.

MINIMUM OF 24 HOUR ADVANCE NOTICE IS REQUIRED TO OUR OFFICE 814-445-8133.

Work shall not proceed until the field inspection has been approved.
